About Us The Group

A Danish‑Cambodian group, building the foundation industry runs on.

SCAN Industrial Services was established under NAT Oil & Energy (Denmark) ApS with one purpose: to create the integrated industrial ecosystem Cambodia needs to compete in international markets — and to bring the world's manufacturers here.

01 — Our Story Why we exist

We are not filling a gap.
We are building the foundation.

For years, the conversation about Cambodia focused on what was missing — the skilled workforce, the certified technicians, the facilities that meet EU standards.

We saw it differently. The gap was never a problem to point at; it was a foundation waiting to be built. SCAN Industrial Services was formed to build it — not piece by piece, but as a single, integrated ecosystem.

Operating under NAT Oil & Energy (Denmark) ApS, we pair four decades of global industrial experience with deep, on-the-ground relationships in Cambodia. The result is a group that can train a workforce, build the facilities that employ it, and structure the investment that keeps it sustainable — together, as one system.

02 — Vision Why we're here

A Cambodia where skilled workers build careers at home, and international manufacturers come to build with them.

One vision, seen from two sides — the worker who no longer has to leave, and the manufacturer who finally has a reason to arrive.

  • For Cambodian workers

The choice to stay, build skills, and earn internationally recognised credentials at home, rather than exporting their labour abroad.

  • For international manufacturers

A destination they can trust, because the workforce is certified, the facility meets EU standards, and the governance framework is already in place.

03 — Mission What we build

We build the ecosystem. We do not build it in parts.

SCAN Industrial Services builds Cambodia's integrated industrial ecosystem — developing a certified technical workforce through SME Resource Center, enabling industry through SME Management's consultation and apprenticeship network, and delivering EU-standard production, hands-on training, and internationally recognised certification through the SME Manufacturing Cluster.

Together these three platforms form Cambodia's first complete Learn → Do → Certify pathway — in alignment with Cambodia's Skills Development Roadmap 2023–2035, backed by ministerial commitment from MISTI and MLVT, and governed to Danish corporate standards under NAT Oil & Energy (Denmark) ApS.

04 — Values What we hold ourselves to

Five commitments, held without exception.

The values that shape every training programme we design, every facility we build, and every partnership we enter.

01

Safety First

The health, psychological safety, and physical well-being of every trainee, employee, and community member we work with comes before everything else. In industrial environments, safety is not a policy, it is the foundation on which all other work stands. No production target, no deadline, and no commercial pressure overrides it.

02

Craftsmanship & Quality

We hold ourselves to the standard of the work, not just the standard of the certificate. High-quality workmanship, precision in delivery, and practical excellence in every training programme we run, because a certified worker who cannot perform to standard is not the outcome we are here to produce.

03

Continuous Learning

Industrial technology does not stand still, and neither do we. We build a growth mindset into everything, encouraging trainees and staff alike to adapt continuously to new technologies, equipment, and methodologies. That commitment to staying current is what makes the certification we offer worth holding.

04

Integrity & Accountability

We do the right thing, even when it is not the easy thing. We own our outcomes, the good ones and the ones that need fixing. Every commitment we make to a trainee, an industry partner, a government institution, or a development funder is one we intend to keep, and one we will account for honestly if we fall short.

05

Practical Innovation

We look for better ways to solve real problems, hands-on, creative, and grounded in what actually works in an industrial environment. We bring Danish industrial experience and Cambodian operational knowledge together to find solutions that are new to this context, even when the underlying principles are proven.

Every training programme designed, every industry partnership built, every facility constructed, every certification earned — it is all for Cambodia. For the Cambodian worker who deserves a skilled career at home. For the Cambodian industry that deserves a workforce it can trust.

Cambodia is not our market. It is our mission.

05 — Leadership The people behind it

Built by people who have done it before.

Tommy Christensen
Chairman & Group CEO

Tommy Christensen

Tommy has spent over 40 years in oil, energy, and industrial sectors — working in downstream and refining, representing Danish clean process technology companies across global markets, and building the kind of deep industry relationships that only come from decades of doing the work, not talking about it.

He founded NAT Oil & Energy (Denmark) ApS and now leads SCAN Industrial Services as Chairman and Group CEO. His decision to commit to Cambodia is not a pivot or a new direction — it is the application of everything he has built over four decades to a country he believes is ready for its industrial moment, and a mission he intends to see through.

Director, SME Resource Center

Dhanita Nair

Dhanita brings 15 years of experience across SME development, operations, manufacturing, and organisational leadership — working across Cambodia's private sector, education, and non-profit environments, and building the kind of practical, ground-level understanding that only comes from leading teams, systems, and growth through real operational challenges.

She leads SME Resource Center as Director, overseeing its strategic direction, stakeholder engagement, and programme delivery, with a focus on capacity building, skills development, and cross-sector collaboration aligned with Cambodia's national development agenda.

Her commitment to this work is not new. It is built on years of experience applied with one clear purpose: enabling Cambodia's workforce and enterprises to meet the standards that the global market increasingly demands.
